A one-hour radio documentary produced by Dmae Roberts and the Breast Cancer Radio Arts Project distributed nationally for Women's History month 2004.
The Breast Cancer Monologues is a one-hour collage of women's stories intricately woven from interviews, readings and dramatizations about how breast cancer has affected the lives of women in America. and was distributed on the Stories1st.org banner to 200 public stations around the country.

BROADCAST LIVE ON KBOO 90.7 FM
The aim of BC-Rap was to create a new model for community partners to work together to create awareness on one health topic.
The components of BC-Rap included:
- Once a month call-in programs beginning April 16, 2003 on KBOO 90.7FM, 7:30-9:00am on Locus Focus with Barbara Bernstein and guest panels of experts
and a series of 10 five-to-seven minute feature radio stories
- A unique mentorship program with five specially selected KBOO volunteers who have dedicated themselves to a six-month committment to produce
at least one 5-7 minute feature story. These mentees are Miae Kim, Laura Moulton, Andrew Steltzer, Jessica Stiles and Kate Welch.
- Create a health beat model for KBOO radio to use in the future
- Live town hall program and art event iat the Hollywood Theatre.
Topics include:
- Race for the Cause
- Detection and treatment
- Bridging the gap between complimentary and allopathic treatment
- Caregivers: in the home and the hospital
- Support groups: different models and needs
- Ethnic and cultural differences and access to prevention and treatment
- Lesbian community issues and models of support
- Costs of living with breast cancer
- Re-entry to the World
